Large amounts of it is Dana's doing though, I'm pretty sure the Dublin belt grab was planned.

He's starting to annoy me a bit as well, think it's because before, in small doses, the act was okay, but just over an hour of embeddeds later Mcgregor just looks like a tosser and Aldo quite respectful.

    Aldo will run over him.

Reminder for those that don't know, UFC is in PickTV tonight at 11pm instead of BT, believe it's free as well if anyone fancies a look.

Jon Jones has been stripped of the title. Cormier v Johnson at UFC187 for the vacent title.

Involved in a hit and run or something.

His life is out of control at the minute. Clearly not in the right headspace. Needs to go away and focus himself.

UFC has suffered bad these last 2 years. GSP retiring, Silva declining, Injuries to most of the Main Event fights. Now this.

Its clearly set the organisation back quite a way.

It is because of what the UFC breed and promote. They encourage extreme training in combat so they can Gladiate themselves in front of a baying mob and try to kill each other. Their instinct for survival must be in overdrive.

I believe the fighters suffer from PTSD once their bout is finished and the adrenaline disappears.

They need medical help to control their lives and acclimatise to normal life outside of training and fighting.

Special Forces often go off the rails outside the job for similar reasons.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

Just curious, do you watch MMA? This sounds like the answer from somebody who doesn't watch it and believes what they read about it- but I may be wrong

I do watch it, love it. I also boxed a fair bit in my Army days so did enjoy participating. (I wasn't very good though, got told once by the ref to join in and stop ****ing about) I was getting battered by a mad Scottish mortar man with loads of tatts and a head made of concrete.

Fair enough- i just presumed anybody who knows about it knows that 99.99% of fighters aren't trying to kill each other- they are highly skilled martial artists. And as terrible as UFC crowds can be, they aren't a baying mob.

After watching MMA for 10 years, i can honestly say I can't think of a single person who has PTSD because of a fight. Every fighter wants to do it, trainst every day so they can do it, and actually enjoys doing it- its nothing like a soldier who is at war and its literally kill or be killed.

If these pampered UFC fighters are getting PTSD then i'd hate to think what has happened to the old school vale tudo fighters, and even the guys from Pride days where fights were much more brutal and for a lot less money.

That comes across as very pedantic and smug- that's not my intention, i'm genuinely surprised in your opinion

PTSD comes in many forms, mainly after the event, many factors can cause it, fear of losing etc. The extremes of the training and the fight followed by the relaxation/recovery period can also trigger PTSD, there is an amount of adjustment mentally to be made, to allow for the extreme changes in the mental state needed to compete.

These guys are Apex athletes, probably none are fitter mentally or physically, there must be a massive come-down post fight, win or lose.

UFC crowds are attrocious. Full of cocked up ******s in tap out t-shirts or wannabe gangsters. Booing when fights go to ground.

In saying that boxing crowds are equally as bad, if not worse. Seen more fights in the crowd at boxing than in the ring. Sad to say but I prefer to watch boxing from the comfort of my own home now

I think Jones' problem is the same as many athletes before him- too much money at a young age, while being "untouchable" due to his value to his employer.
