He's been really excited to test himself against Maia, will be very tough but I think Gunnar will step up, just a hunch though.

@Fasle9 - thanks for the Pride article. Had no idea things were that bad with that organisation. Done some Googling and Rampage had some interesting things to say about his time in Pride....though I think some off his musings may have been as a result of repeated knees to the head from Silva

For anyone interested in BJJ as well as MMA- Ryan Hall is in the new series of TUF- He won his prelim fight in the first episode so is in Fabers team.

Will be interesting to see how well he does- although the quality of fighters in the house is generally quite poor

Think the European fighters are savages ... the Americans ... meeh ... with the exception of Hall who has to be the best BJJ guy I have seen in the octagon in years ... proper BJJ cold as **** killer python snake .. he has some scary skills .. feel sorry for his opponent ... talk about drawing the short straw

although I cant understand some MMA fighters moving away from their strengths just to prove a point.

DC should have taken Alex to the ground and smothered him in the same way he did against rumble

was strange to hear in his post match comments he wanted to have a stand up fight to prove to everybody he can be a stand up fighter

Anyone else been watching the ultimate fighter? Was a little ratings tiff on Wednesday night but the Swedish lad trying to insult in his second language was wonderful.
