I think McGregor is going to lay him out in the first round ..McGregor hits you, its sleepy time ... he has reach and after his recent training with Ido Portal ... I predict people will be raving about McGregors footwork and movement after this fight

      Weidman by Decision
      Souza By Submission 2nd

You think the guy who's unbeaten in 10 years and only ever lost once (via sub) will get KO'd in the first round?

        I'd be suprised

There is a very big glaring reason Conor McGregor is so confident in this division.. its his Knock out stats ... they are at 80% in a division of ocassional subs and mostly decisions, he is king, he touches you, you go to sleep anybody who has fought him all say the same, he hits like a truck, and his shots are lazer accurate. Ricardo Lamas is physically identical to McGregor and his Knock out rate is 25% .. his fight with Aldo in 2014 went 5 rounds to a decision ... Aldo will not be able to go 5 rounds with McGregor I predict ... I see him getting tagged with a counter punch and swarmed

Either way its going to be Epic, both exceptional fighters

His defense is pretty abysmal though, if he does win, he won't be keeping his title for long that's for sure. He leaves himself so open, he can take a punch but it won't be long before someone exposes him. I thought Mendes took him apart for the majority of the fight, and I'll say it now, Aldo will do better and I can't see McvGregor winning.

Not surprisingly I disagree I think his movement is outstanding .. whilst his hands maybe open he is goading his opponents, he is very evasive, but hey we will see ... I think a fit Chad Mendes will be his toughest test

So with me just getting into this MMA, and having watched a load of vids of late, it seems ConnorM is a big underdog for this one, and this is the guy he relentlessly and unashamedly taunted before their last fight, only for this fella to pull out at the last minute, and now he's back ?

ConnorM is supremely confident, but he always is, almost to the extent of it seeming like overconfidence.

He has a loss on his record though i think, so not invincible, but none of them are immune to being beat by the looks of this sport.

Can see why he's the underdog though, this fella is a good kicker apparently, inflicts steady damage, and Connor has imo in some of his fights saved himself with a ko, which is fine, so long as you have an opponent that your able to ko, if he doesn't get a ko i can see this being a bruising night for him, then again, the fella he fought as a replacement last time was known to be a big hitter, and he went the same way as all Conor McGregor's MMA opponents thus far.

                          Hope he wins.

I'm sure it probably works both ways tbf, but definitely more so on the boxing side.

Think in some strange way they see their sport as the more skillful, and honorable , which is odd considering the way some of them act.

Conor isn't a huge underdog Verm, it's actually a pretty even fight.

Both of his losses where submissions early in his career, not to say that isn't a way to get at him but he'll be a lot better now. He's only been to a decision once and that was against Holloway when he ****ed his ACL mid fight and carried on.

Oh and *any* close rounds are getting scored for Mcgregor, Aldo will need to win them convincingly.
