    Nice one.

I noticed that FM was executive producer on the Showtime one, which made sense seeing as Manny was in it for around 3 seconds!

Is there any confirmation of the time? I’ve already conceded there is no way I’ll be able to stay up, but I’m used to getting up at 4:15 AM anyway, so thinking of just going to bed early on Saturday night and getting up for it. Might have to work at 8:00 too, so that’s probably the sensible approach for me.

According to the independent the ring walk is due to start at 4 am UK time. I might do the go to bed and wake up for it as there's no way I'll be able to stay awake until then these days.

That's good, will record the whole event and set alarm for 4:00 to at least watch the main event live. Work commitments will decide if I'll be having an early morning beer or not.

Another undeserved title shot for Smith.

Yup, have to say he doesn't deserve this at all. Seems like an easy run out for Ward.

Don't have an issue with Ward taking on a Smith level fighter as a remove the rust type fight as it means he is taking on a live fighter, but Smith being that fighter is just wrong.

He has done nothing to warrant another bout against a title holder. If anything his back to back defeats for a "lesser" strap should mean that he has to go and work his way back up to a title shot rather than being given another to make it three title shots in a row.

Beating Tony Dodson years ago seemingly now qualifies him to fight one of the best fighters in the world. Hilarious.

Disgraceful fight, he got battered twice by a way past it Abraham and now this? Shambolic.

Ah now, Hearns came out and claimed that the scoring for Smith against Abraham was "disgraceful". So must be true

Eddie's IFL interviews justifying this one will be unbearable. "Life changing money" even though it wont be, "chance of a lifetime" and "fans are never happy" will feature many times!
