If anyone thought that airing David Haye's comeback fight on Dave was just more witty banter, you won't be laughing any more.
Some people were scathing about Hayemaker's return to the ring against unknown Australian puncher Mark De Mori on the free-to-air comedy channel.
De Mori, who apparently learned his trade on YouTube, was never going to be the high calibre opponent that we're used to seeing Haye come up against.
But the fact that boxing was back on TV and the appetite to see Haye challenging the heavyweight division's biggest hitters once again proved to be a massive draw.
The fight may have only lasted 131 seconds, after the former two-weight world champion destroyed De Mori with a brutal knock-out, but the viewing figures for Dave were incredible.
At its peak, 'Haye Day' pulled in more than three million TV viewers. That's more viewers than Channel 4 and just behind ITV on the prime time Saturday night slot.
The 02 Arena where the bout was staged sold out with a 16,000-strong crowd and there were a further 100,000 fans who streamed it live on YouTube.
"When we set out on this journey, the aim was to bring boxing back to as many people as possible and we have certainly done that," Haye said.
"We worked relentlessly for the past seven weeks to put together an amazing event and I'm humbled that over three million people tuned in and 16,000 came down to arena to see me in action.
"This is just the beginning of the road back to regaining the heavyweight championship of the world.
"I'm thankful for all the support I've received so far and hope the fans stick with me because there is a lot more to come from the Hayemaker."
There's still a huge appetite for heavyweight boxing. Let's hope there's more from Haye on Dave.

Anthony Joshua could challenge for the European heavyweight title against Dereck Chisora.
Chisora had been due to face Robert Helenius in a rematch of their controversial 2011 fight but the Finn pulled out on Wednesday.
As a result, Joshua is the next available challenger to face his fellow Londoner and Chisora's promoters have confirmed to Sportsmail that they will hold talks with Eddie Hearn.
Joshua currently holds the British and Commonwealth belts after his victory over Dillian Whyte last month and will be back in action at The O2 on April 9.
The European strap was held by Erkan Teper after he knocked out David Price but the German was later handed a two-year doping ban.
That left the title vacant and the EBU ordered Helenius and Chisora to come to an agreement.
The highest-ranked opponent for Chisora is actually Wladimir Klitschko but he is preparing for his rematch with Tyson Fury in May while No 3 Alexander Povetkin is the mandatory challenger to WBC world champion Deontay Wilder.
That leaves Joshua who has yet to announce his next opponent.
Promoter Kalle Sauerland told Sky Sports: 'The fight would be imminent because it would be ordered. It would then be up to us to agree a deal with Matchroom, and we have a very close working relationship.
'The fighters have their demands, we represent those and try to reach terms. That would be the next step.'
Chisora would bring a wealth of experience to the ring having challenged Vitali Klitschko for his world title in 2012 as well as David Haye and two fights with Tyson Fury.
The 32-year-old was dropped by promoter Frank Warren last year but since joining the Sauerlands has racked up three quick-fire knockout victories, albeit against limited opposition.

Manny Pacquiao says a fight with Amir Khan fell through because of a collapse in negotiations with the British fighter's "middle men".
The pair had been in talks in November about a contest in Pacquiao's final bout before his impending retirement, but it has since been confirmed the Filipino will face Timothy Bradley.
Pacquiao has not fought since undergoing shoulder surgery following his points defeat to pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather in May.
Khan previously said he had pulled out of talks with Pacquiao, but the former WBA and IBF super-lightweight champion revealed on a trip to India that negotiations with his former stablemate had resumed two months ago.
The fight, however, did not get booked and Pacquiao has laid the blame for that at the door of Khan's representatives.
"We don't know but after this I'm going to retire so it's impossible," Pacquiao said when asked about the prospect of a fight with Khan.
"Yes, before this fight with Timothy Bradley we were negotiating and trying to fix and get it done, this fight with Amir, but it didn't work out.
"There were a lot of middle men - in negotiations - a lot of representatives from him and that is the reason."
Instead, Pacquiao will face Bradley at the MGM Grand on April 9, a fighter against whom he has recorded one win and one loss, both on points.
But it is his match with Mayweather which continues to dominate any conversation with Pacquiao about former opponents, and he believes it was a contest he should have won.
"I'm 100 per cent sure that I'm going to retire after this fight," Pacquiao told Sky Sports News HQ. "He [Mayweather] is already is retired so that's impossible but we don't know.
"In my heart, if you ask me in my heart, I still believe that I won that fight but I respect the decision of the judges, the commission and that's boxing."
