On several occasions against guys with high boxing IQ, good hand and foot speed - Canelo has looked really ponderous. Mayweather, Lara, several rounds of the Cotto fight and one or two others. I think Lara won the fight by 2 or 3 rounds at least. Problem for Khan is that he doesn't really have boxing IQ, he is too impulsive, perhaps Hunter can help curb his natural instinct to try to get in one punch too many against slower opponents but I'm really not sure.

On the plus side for him, Canelo's reputation as a heavy puncher isn't really that true at all. It's dangerous to trade with him, or stand in front of him, but plenty of guys have gone the distance, some of them being pretty ordinary and, like in Khan's case have stepped up in weight to take the fight.

So as everyone has stated already, Khan has the tools to take this fight away from Alvarez, but I'm unsure if he has the brains and discipline too. I'm confident that Canelo will get him out of there if AK is against the ropes or tries to trade with him unnecessarily.

I don't really care who wins, but hope it's not dull. I want Canelo to show something a bit more. He's obviously good, but needs to do more considering how he's hyped. For me he's some way behind Marquez to be Mexico's number one.

A Mayweather jr comeback is pretty much a sure thing imo, but against McGregor I cannot see happening as McGregor simply does not have the tools to compete at Mayweather's level in a boxing match up.

McGregor has a little boxing experience, but nothing that would worry any pro boxer let alone someone at Mayweather's level.

If by club boxer you mean a lower tier pro boxer, then I would say that McGregor is not even at that level.


Mayweather jr vs McGregor would go like the Holt/Rousey bout only shorter imo, which is why I could see McGregor not getting within an asses roar of ever taking Mayweather jr on in a boxing bout.
