Hence the boo-ing. would have been gutted to go to that. The whole card was a washout.

Amazing that haye was washed up before the fight and then elavated to some ali-esque boxer who was the greatest heavyweight on the planet by bellew once beaten.

The whole thing felt quite staged tbh. Barely a punch thrown in the early rounds, Haye ****s ankle, barely a punch thrown latter rounds.

It was smoke and mirrors. Just high profile sparring.

I think I remember Haye saying after his fight with Fraudley he told family and friends the exact round he was going KO him in so they made lots of money. Wouldn't surprise me if Haye looked at the odds of Bellew winning by KO/TKO and stuck some money on it himself

Haye was wild the first few rounds. Looked like he was wanting to take Bellew head off.

One theory is he went into the fight with an injury. Knew that if he pulled out he'd never get another sniff of Sky's PPV pie.

And well we all know what happened.

              That makes some sense.

He was basically stuffed either way. Pull out and risk credibility, or fight and risk injury and the event turning into a farce.

The bizarre thing is, if they fight again, I'd probably watch (stream).

he walked in very slow, think he was so wild because he was injured and knew it was only a matter of time before the ankle went.

Bellew has said himself that he was ****ed later on in fight and had to get a second wind so took it easy for 2 rounds. He couldnt do that against anyone half decent and with 2 legs.

Yeah, Bellew gassing rather puts paid to all the bollocks talked before, and during, the fight that Bellew's plan was to take the fight into the later rounds because he was the better conditioned

it has emerged that Haye will pocket at least £4.2m from the fight, while Bellew is set to earn £2.8m.

Interesting to hear Hearn afterwards saying no rematch clause was in the contract and if asked they would have given one straight away. They were that sure of victory.

Although as Bellew struggled to beat an already injured then one legged fighter can understand there optimism!!

was a weird fight in many ways.....i thought if Haye was going to win he would have done so in the early rounds,I'm sure Haye will start with the jibes again saying he only lost due to his injury.....

Always good to have the lineal heavyweight champ back on the scene
