Ward is a great fighter, I'm not surprised at his decision. He's spoken about it a few times before and after the Kovalev fights. He's possibly the best of this generation although he'll never get credit for it. I love how good he is, but how equally dirty he is in there haha. As Ricky Hatton likes to say, there's nothing wrong with walking away with the legacy and faculties intact. I hope he stays retired. Nothing is worse than the Aaron Pryor type comebacks and losing a perfect record. Ward doesn't seem like one who will come back, he has zero to prove, beat top fighters in their prime so unless it's financial there isn't a reason to have him in the ring again, particularly if he says he doesn't have the heart.
Would have liked to see a rematch with kessler, whom is one of my favourite fighters because it was an odd fight, but in all honesty, bias aside I'm pretty positive he'd have beaten Mikkel again.
Did anyone see Froch's ****ty article on Skysports? 'I won't miss him and it's not sour grapes'
it's 100% sour grapes. I've seen interviews of Froch slagging him off on YouTube for years too... Such a prick. It's crazy how such a personality makes people dislike him and forget that he was actually a great fighter. It's like his media persona since he beat Bute has never left his head. And Sky will no doubt continue to push him as a journalist/commentator so we'll be seeing him and his nosejob for years.

A World Heavyweight 'title' fight and there's been little to nothing in the press about it.
Anyhow War Hughie Fury!
The winner would be cannon fodder for either of Joshua or Wilder.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Fury was chopping logs on BBC during the week. Anyhow, despite inspired rocky training I reckon Parker wins in the late rounds.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostJospeh Parker is fighting Hughie Fury in Manchester tomorrow night.

Nope, ****ing ****e
Parker won by MD
114 - 114
118 - 110
118 - 110
Couple of points
Parker is utter ****ing gash. His people best keep him away from Joshua. He'd get murdered.
Fury's got no power at the weight. Slapping, cuffing jabs and the occasional uppercut aren't going to win you a World Heavyweight Title

He has a point.Originally posted by Mr Darko View Posthaha how delusional from Mick Hennessy (Fury's promoter)

Fury boxed beautifully. Made Parker look like a pub drunk on a Saturday night.
Fury's problem is that other than jab and an.occasional upper cut he didn't land anything of note. Parker didn't respect his power.
Fury is young, he'll fill out and come again.
Parker's going to be fighting tomato cans for a while.
No way his promoters risk him against Joshua or Wilder.
