And David Price, a controlled textbook boxing performance from him tonight. So happy for him, schooled Allen. Good night of boxing and one more cracker to still come, reckon Thurman stops PacMan in 8Originally posted by Zapater View PostReally good wins for Chisora and Whyte."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Still past it, but definitely his best performance in years against a really good fighter. Outside the likes of Porter, Spence and Crawford; I think that Manny is probably the best out there. Movement was superb. Fight was a lot closer for me than a lot of media had it, I can definitely justify a SD. If it wasn't for the knockdown a Thurman win wouldn't be out of the question. Fair play to both guys, they both fought a good fight and ate some huge shots.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostThat was special from Pacquiao.
Only a positive for boxing. Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, although there are rumours about Pacquiao fighting Khan or the Spence Jr next. He'd no doubt stop Khan on the basis of this performance, I think Spence Jr or Crawford would be an absolute nightmare for most fighters and Manny is no different, that's a hard nights work.

With all the excitement of the cricket, I almost forgot about this. Did anyone catch the Kovalev - Yarde bout? Unbelievable and the stoppage was excellent. They were both exhausted and battered. Ward definitely broke Kovalev a bit in that second fight, he's not the same anymore, he had that aura of invincibility and believed it, that's gone now. The fact he came through those sticky middle rounds and scored the late KO is credit to him.
Yarde was taken into deeper trenches than he would have experienced before. He hasn't even had 20 fights yet and will definitely become a good world champ in the future. He has everything you'd want to be a top fighter.
Rumour has it that Canelo is next, would love to see Krusher knock him out.
