Laughable that it is a PPV.


As a pairing Smith vs Eubank jr is at best a mid card bout on a proper PPV.


A pity some sort of double low blow KO cannot happen. Two pricks.

Probably go for Smith simply because it pushes the name of the Rotunda.

Eubank is a serious incident waiting to happen if he keeps trying to lose too much weight in the manner he does.

He looked dangerously cut at the weigh in. Don't know if he is lazy in his training and has to cut like this as a result or he has to cut so hard because his natural walking about size now is at least two, maybe three, weights above what he is trying to make.


Either way it is a stupid, dangerous and highly irresponsible thing to be doing. The sort of thing that could cause punch resistence and reflexes to fall off a cliff mid fight.

Way too much of a gamble with one's health for any fight let alone for such a nothing fight in the grand scheme of things. Also puts Smith at risk of being the guy that is on the other side of a life changing injury.

Ankles must have been ****ed. Will be interesting to see what Smith says post match but I doubt he'll want a redo.

Smith was so gunshy, it's hard to actually gauge what happened there. Eubank was good but Smith was equally bad. Smith's preparation must've been abysmal, even on top of the weight stuff.

You could see him roll the ankle early on and he looked like he was on one leg the whole fight thereafter. Strange night.

Also a mate went and said there were constant fights in the crowd. Huge brawls all over the place. You could see during the fight the crowd watching something else, as usual. It's a ****ing disgrace what goes on at big fights now tbh.

This needs changing too imo. Obviously we want better undercards but main events should start at 9, surely, for a number of reasons - one of them being less time for the knuckledraggers to shovel two bags of coke up their snouts and have them all thinking they're ten men.
