Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I see Wiggins has had another little outburst after that incident with the cameraman the other day... feeling the pressure perhaps?

          Fella needs to chill.
          On the Ning Nang Nong
          Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
          There's a Nong Nang Ning
          Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
          On the Nong Ning Nang
          All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
          So it's Ning Nang Nong!

                What incidents and outbursts?

Are you sure the Australian media aren't whipping up a media storm about nothing?

Every single interview I've seen from him he seems very relaxed. And he looks relaxed in the peloton too. Of course that doesn't mean he is so maybe you're right, and these are a couple of cracks. But he's certainly doing a good job of looking more at ease than I've ever seen him in a bike race.

I wasn't referring to anything said in the Australian media.

There was this... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzHmhgjL2pc"]...[/ame] and then this.

Perhaps they were both justified reactions - although the language used (mainly in the second instance) was a little heavy for the situation.

Maybe a sign of the pressure he's feeling as the tour favourite, or maybe 'Wiggo' is just naturally like that. Not casting judgement, just thought it was worth noting.

That was a brilliant effort from Wiggins - that display will give him a huge psychological boost. Can't believe just how dominant he was, really inspired stuff.

Froome also keeps on surprising too!

At least today will be more exciting than a time trial.

I don't know if this is true but all the Brit cyclists live within 30 miles of the velodrome at Manchester

Now where is that pendleton girl
