I think he might be, or close enough. Kittel is good. I thought when I first saw him sprint a few times as a neo-pro in 2011 he'd be the next big threat.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Well stop spying on your auntie when the Tour is on.

In fact stop spying on her anytime.

Thomas seems to be improving but it's hard to know if he can improve enough.
Isn't Thomas riding with a broken pelvis after the crash on the first day? I was shocked that Kav got beat on the line today. it looked like he timed it badly although Kittel got in his slip stream and clearly knows how to match him now.

This is by far a more enjoyable TdF than last year.

Thomas has a non-displaced fracture in his pelvis. His condition seems to be improving - at least he's not at the back all stage like he was in the first few stages afterwards and he actually finished not long after Porte, and ahead of the bus, in Sunday's Sky massacre.

I agree about Cavendish. Although not perfect his leadout was good enough and you'd have expected him to hold on in that situation.

I haven't watched it yet but I've read all about it. Thanks for the spoiler tags, ourcasemore.

It's going to be a fascinating last week, a lot could happen.

Is it Mont Ventoux today? Can't watch it as I'm going out.
