Why? He was ahead of Quintana and in a group of three that was pulling further away from Quintana, then a motorbike caused a crash. You shouldn't be penalised for stuff that's completely outside of the race. A mechanical at a bad time, tough ****. Someone falling in normal racing and taking you down, tough ****. On Froome there are arguments for and against, but on balance I'm won over by the Walsh argument of "where are the whistleblowers?". Sky have now gone through lots of riders, masseurs, doctors, technical staff, etc. who have left and are elsewhere but there's not a single accusation of cheating. Even from disgruntled staff who were sacked after they had past links with doping - wouldn't being sacked like that make you want to scream from the rooftops if Sky were cheating? Whereas with Armstrong there were loads and they just kept on building.Comment

He hasn't cheated as he's been upfront and got permission to use them. He hasn't secretly been found out. The rules are the same for all.
