I feel sorry for Hogg. This is the sort of game he would have excelled in. The ball getting thrown around a bit. Made no sense to play him given the tactics in the first two tests.

Fairly satisfied with that first half. Better put together game. Biggar injury probably a blessing in disguise for the Lions. Could have been better from the Boks but they put together strong defence when necessary. Lions good value for their narrow lead currently.

Ref has been decisive and made his calls early. Hasn't let anything develop.

Confident the forwards can gain control in the 2nd half. Hopefully Nyakane can show some physical magic again.

Feel it was a bit harsh on Watson too. Didn't get much a of a chance to showcase himself properly due to the nature of the games.
