No complaints about the result, we started poorly and it set the tone, too many anonymous players during the game. Just hated some of the officiating and feel like we can't expect anything in any game.

The tackle seems to be one of the more polarising things I've read. Every Australian seems to think it's the most heroic, superhuman achievement. Every South African labels it a shoulder charge which warrants a caution.

I know we're all biased but it's so conclusively each way depending on your allegiance. I'd like to think I'm not that primitive so wanted to see what other's may think. I've also watched it a few times now. I don't think Mapimpi is close enough to be jumping to get to the line which is technically not on but by the same token I do think it's a shoulder charge and potentially very dangerous. Not torn up about it though.

Well I have no allegiance to SA or AUS (albeit I do have some family there ) and I couldn't definitively call it one way or the other TBH despite replaying it about a dozen times.

I’ve not seen the incident. Got a link?

        I don’t have a horse in the SA/AUS race.

In the old days - great tackle - these days - penalty & maybe a Yellow/Red who knows!

Think the going low saves him but could easily have seen a penalty given for it.

                Yeah it’s a tricky one.

Home team decision for sure, he just moves his arm to wrap pretty much ruling out no arms, but he is lucky as it’s reckless. If you support the tackling team you would be gutted to see anything given against you and baying for blood the other way round.

I take it it was a TMO decision and nothing given?

That try was a beauty. Love Willemse at fly half too, so tasty. Wouldn't have him taking the kicks though, guess there's no other option. Don't think you can get a better debut try than that either. Should have converted the dominance into more points but can't be disappointed after that half.

Again, another 'deliberate knock down' going for the intercept which was not given. As I've always harped on about, I'm fine with that as I think it's common sense and the correct decision but that's the second one against us in this competition. It's so obvious that one of our players will get one wrong in the Northern tour and you guys won't understand why I'm so aggrieved at the decision.

You don’t see many try’s like this at international level.

                    Woeful defence.

                        Yeah, that was a cracker.

Great intensity and ball through hands. Relentless stuff.

Shows we should always start with our best front row. Shot ourselves in the foot in the last 2 games. Don't know if it's tactical or if it's a political/quota selection but either way it doesn't work.

Having Willemse and le Roux both in the team makes a big difference to the type of rugby played. Pollard is a great player but he wants to do his bit and get out of the way. Not as much control with Willemse but more magic.

Mad officiating, we got away with one (or a few) there. Foul play overriding is a stupid rule.

                                5 pens in a row

You normally see a yellow after that.
