it happened with us at old trafford once - but it was a one dayer, funnily enough England Austraila

however, they agreed to do 20 overs each and too 'slow' down a bit with the seamers so at least we got some cricket in.

they batted first, we got their 20 overs in, then a break - England came in to bat...one over and it ****ing lashed down

It does look as though it might clear up from about 4 ish.....they could play til 7.30 so we could get three hours or so play...but even then what's the point? They're not gonna bowl us out and we're obviously not gonna chase em down. Wank.

if it was me, and i'd the day off and tickets, i'd be tempted to get up there early afternoon for a few beers in a pub near the ground and have a bit of laugh

if it clears up then you can dive in.

obviously tho - with you living nearer the ground you don't have to commit to the travel, but i'd stll be tempted just to be up there...even if you only got to see 5 overs.

we tried it a couple years back, bladdered, all falling over

there was a line you had to step across when bowling to get an accurate reading

we were all that pissed that none one could judge the line/release right

then one of the lads, completely ****s up slips, and sends this cricket ball out of the bowling area and down towards the bar haha

we got thrown off it then....i never got my go
