I think some people are being overly pessimistic with the weather.

There is due to be lots of scattered showers rather than a torrential downpour all afternoon AFAIK.

So long as they can keep the outfield dry overnight I think they'll be alright

BBC had the little dark cloud with raindrop symbol showing as late as 6pm tomorrow evening as recently as 8pm Monday evening.

Now at 1am it is only showing as late as 4pm. Wake up tomorrow and hopefull see news that play is starting on time

If we'd batted with more intent on the last hour of Sunday then we could have declared at lunch yesterday and this game would potentially be all over by now.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing in Cricket though.

I personally prefer a risk averse approach. It might not mean we win as much, but we dont lose as much either.

In this game it was wrong to do that, New Zealand are poor and we should have dominated them. But if it was done against Australia, I think peoples reactions would have been different.
