Go see a podiatrist. You can try all sorts of remedies and recommendations from others as I have done over the years but at the end of the day go see the quack. its worth it

Im running probably twice a week at most at the moment. Mostly once.

I am down the gym though, Im trying to motivate my brother in law a bit to lose weight as he has piled on the lbs in the last few years.

So im sort of doing lots of kettlebell and medicine ball stuff, along with stuff on mats.

                Pressups are hard.
                *Except Michael, who died.

I'm doing spinning class three times a week. I feel thinner by the end of each session - which is good because I put 2kgs on during our holiday in France eating sausages.

Need to do some upper of stuff though because I am weak as a kitten.

Is your weight consistent enough that you would notice 2kgs?

My weight will fluctuate between 64-68 Kilos between Monday and Friday on a regular week (eat well Mon-Thu, junk at weekends) and probably even more drastic when dieting. On holiday I'll probably go from 62 to 70 (although I try not to weigh myself for a while when I get back.

Edit: I've just realised you probably weigh yourself occasionally like a normal person, whereas if I weighed myself weekly on the same day, I'd be pretty consistent too.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I bought a water rower in January and I use it 5 times a week 40 mins each morning which is showing as 10k. Lost a stone and a half in weight but I cannot get the last half stone off as i like my ale and perhaps the food portion sizes are a little too big. Feel so much better for it though.
                      Go **** yourself

Fair play Boogs, 1.5 stone is good going. I wouldn't worry too much about that extra half, you should just be glad to keep the other 1.5 off. Chances are that even if you do lose it, it won't be sustainable (while maintaining an enjoyable lifestyle) and you'll soon put it back on, plus some.

I hate the rowing machine, kills me. When I first joined a gym, many years ago, they had one were a crocodile chased you and you had to row faster top get away. I enjoyed that one.

I've only recently begun to weigh myself. I'd previously felt that if I excersized hard enough the results would be there own reward! However I now have an amount of weight I want to lose and am working toward it - this holiday set me back slightly but I'd decided in advance I was fine with that.

                            I see.

Wouldn't it be great to be young again and not give a **** about weight, eating and drinking whatever you want with no consequences.

I'd even settle for some similarity between it being as easy to get fit as it is to get unfit. Or as easy to lose weight as it is to put it on!
