I used the My Fitness Pal app too. But lost the routine when I had a week off and pretty much drunk every night
It is good though. Worked a treat. Infact ill restart it today.
The eggs were not all bad. It was about 80 Calories per egg and they are suprisingly filling. Especially with a mug of black coffee.
Infact, I have been told that the best breakfast you could possibly have is 2 poached eggs, 2 rashers of grilled bacon and a mug of black coffee.*Except Michael, who died.

Is it that high? I thought they were about 80 calories each boiled.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostTrue. It's still an odd breakfast for a diet though. Two boiled eggs on their own would be about 300 calories and I doubt it would be that filling?
High in protein which fills you up.

Love poached eggs, but realistically I'm not going to bother with that before work, so it's usually weetabix and a coffee for me.

I shared a bag of Revels at the cinema yesterday evening. Then I had fish and chips last night, including 3 slices of white sliced bread for chip butties (I was educating my daughter who had never had a chip butty before - she didn't like it so I ate one of hers as well as my own). Then I had some profiteroles about an hour or so before bed.
I was 600g lighter this morning compared to both Sunday and Monday mornings.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

The best way is not to do it and not to eat eggs at all unless it's a meringue or in something with flour like a pancake, cake or Yorkshire pudding (sans moutarde)..

I know, bizarre. I blame her parents.Originally posted by Lee View PostChip butties.
Can't believe your daub hasn't had one before. And that she didn't like it.
Mind, I never had one until I lived in Leeds. I blame my parents.

That's not a bad idea at all. Never thought of that.Originally posted by Alex View PostI now boil the egg for about 45 seconds and then crack it into the same water for another 2 minutes. Seems to hold its shape more.

After years of trying, I came to the conclusion that the best way to poach an egg is to get my Ma to do it. I’ve been ****ing around with them for years and still can’t do it.Originally posted by Lee View PostChip butties.

What's the best way to poach an egg? I used to do the poaching in a bag jobbie but it's too much faffing around.
These wee things can be picked up from a Pound shop and work quite well, but I convinced myself the eggs tasted funny when using them.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Does it not burn your fingers? I can't even crack a cold egg properly though.Originally posted by Alex View PostI now boil the egg for about 45 seconds and then crack it into the same water for another 2 minutes.
