No, I didn't do that one. I don't do many of them actually, I'm not sure why.
    Probably because you're not insane

He's barking mad, completed Boston and London marathons this year and going to NY in November. A lot younger than you though, and me as a fact.

Started to get back healthy today, need to stop this beer belly forming.

Did an hour on the punchbag this morning and planning to go on a run tonight. I don't like running though.

I started on the couch to 5K last year. I remember feeling a sense of achievement when being able to run for 10 minutes without having to stop! After the 12 weeks I entered a 5K and did really well. This year I moved up to 10K and gave myself a motivation by entering the BUPA Great Manchester run in May. Since then, having gone back to 5K, I've knocked 3 minutes of my time and getting round the parkrun in 24 minutes. I still have kids and old ladies running past me but I'm still running better than the average 45 year old. The upside is I feel so much fitter and I've lost a stone in weight over the 12 months.

Probably mentioned this earlier in the thread but has anyone else tried insanity?

I started it a month or two ago..not doing the 6 days a week plan as a) i'm not insane b) not a robot and c) have something faintly resembling a life.

Done 20 days exercise so far and starting to really see results. It's not easy though, jesus

It's pretty popular in the LFC forum.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                      Did you pay for it?

My thinking is that if you're willing to put the amount of effort required for that Insanity programme into any form of exercise, then you're likely to see immediate results.

If you 'earn' your t-shirt would you high-five your fellow Insanies?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Inside is healing slowly too ta Norbs. Quite an unpleasant week on that front but things are moving, albeit also slowly. My life is a million miles from where it was last year thankfully, even though there are bad days still. Selling the house gonna be horrendous but it's an evil needs facing. Only then can I truly move on.

Errm. Is that what you were asking? Haha.
