The phrase "put the lotion in the basket" springs to mind.

The ball is on the inside not the outside but it sounds like you need correcting, have you been back to sweatshop - you can get insoles but i've never had much luck myself. Better to get the right shoe than bodge it with an insole - each to their own though

Gait correcting shoes are not good for you! Wear neutral shoes and run properly!

I broke my knee skiing about a year ago and haven't been able to run since.

What a lame excuse. Worse than Alex.

neutral shoes are the only way to go
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'm actually about to start again. Very gradual walk/run building up slowly. Couple of minutes running makes my knee balloon up to twice it's size at the moment. But got a marathon on the cards to look to. Might be my only one, if any, will have to see how the knee holds out.

Take it easy. A marathon is an ambitious aim though surely, but good on you

I was supposed to be doing one this March a second op out paid to it unfortunately.

This one is June 2015 so I've got time to prepare myself slowly. So you might be getting my half mile tiddlers to tack onto the list

A broken leg is surely by definition the only true lame excuse
