I've been through that. Sometimes it's best to get out for a run and blow off some steam. It can really relieve some of the stress of daily life.

Sorry mate . It's hard enough to read as it is, with the stragglers on it was a real mess so I had to cut some names off.

Bought a pair of these the other day:

Adidas Energy Boost 2. £103 Was with gift vouchers though. They seem good so far, very bouncy, so less impact. Only used them 3 or 4 times so far though, so will reserve judgement.

While I was in the shop I saw these monstrosities too:

                      £140

Blimey - what the hell are those?

I've been wearing some Pegasus-28s and they've been fine to be honest - I need something with a similar amount of cushioning. Those energy boost look a bit thin?!

The energy boost are meant to give you more cushioning and energy return than any others currently on the market. From the times I've used them so far they do seem to absorb the impact nicely and give you a little boost along the way . Early days yet and it's a lot of money to pay!

As for the Springblades they look ridiculous and totally impractical. Every little stone you tread on would get jammed in them. I asked the guy in the shop if they'd sold and he said they'd sold quite a few of them!

First time ever going under 30 Minutes

Infact, I smashed a whole 1:48 off my best time and ran it in 29:24.

Its not much in relation to others, but it feels good to be making progress to my ultimate goal.
