Far too cheerful looking - he needs to be hunched over more and visibly struggling for breath.

I nearly just did an image search for sweaty Saveloy, but thought better of it. Hard to explain away.

10.8km. Slow, slow, slow. Thought my legs were OK after spending all day yesterday clearing a garden and lugging stuff to the tip. But I felt weaker than a newborn calf.

Also had the misfortune of coming across a running club just as I was reaching halfway, so had to run further than intended
so that I didn't end running amongst them all.

Clearing the legs out after yesterdays 80Km cycle hill session. Not sure it worked but at least the pain in my legs is distracting me from the numbness in my arse

I'll tell you what, some fit ****ers on this forum to be fair.

I'm nowhere near the level some (most) of you guys are at, you put the miles in and that is no mean feat.

I'm reasonably fit myself, cycle to work nearly every day and run every 2-3 days but I'm nowhere near as fit as some of you.

Dunno like, slinky. I've just started but I find cycling hard!!! I'm ok at about 15 mph but when it starts getting pushed up hills and is still around the 17mph mark I'm getting dropped.

You'd kick my arse on a bike

7.5km last night down by the river, ran past a lovely little hedgehog shuffling home from work no doubt. Heading back to parkrun tomorrow morning too, got some km to rack up!!

My sinuses still aren't 100% though

                          I doubt it!

I'll tell you something though, I'm finding it a lot easier cycling now and my legs feel far stronger than they were before.

My house is only 1.2 miles from work so the bike ride only takes literally 7 minutes tops with little in terms of hills but I certainly feel fitter on the bike than I did before.

In terms of running I'm really struggling, finding it very hard to get beyond 3-4 miles.

I'm really going to push myself this weekend and try and go for a longer run, 4 or 5 miles if possible as I need to get out of the 3-4 mile barrier, I think it's a mental thing now more than anything.

Do you do loops when you run? Or is it an out and back somewhere?

Just mean if you're getting bored change the scenery a bit, i get bored running but then change the route a bit and suddenly it becomes more interesting rather then thinking that same old route.

Also do you listen to music? Might want to try some other things like sprints - nothing mental, just a few in between trees / lampposts that sorter thing,

I don't do loops as such.

I mainly run over the cob into Conwy near where I live, down the quay and then back home, either that or head off down the nature reserve and back - both are around 3-4 miles in length from my house and back.

I have plenty of places to go I just choose those two routes more than often as they're very scenic. I've found another route but it's very hilly and there was a massive dog barking at me from a house last time I ran it and I ****ing hate dogs, petrified of them.

I don't listen to music however I do plan on buying a little Sandisk MP3 player soon to take with me.

When I used to do lots of running a few years back I had a neat little Sony Walkman MP3 and it really helped me concentrate on the run more.

Just over 5 miles done, 4.52 of which were running, only stopped the once to stretch.

Knackered now, legs, hips, knees and neck are stiff as hell.

On the plus side I managed to get over 4 miles which I'm happy with, also there was a lovely young long haired brunette waiting a bus stop just as I got back with massive, and I mean massive tits!

                                Really pretty as well.
