    Basically going from 4 days a week lifting to nothing(for a week) then back to trying to lift the same weight as before, I was really struggling. Amazing what a lack of a weeks worth of gym can do to your body. Really have to maintain the auld physique religiously or it starts to wane.

        Should've mentioned that there's this power lifter started training at ours I chat to who used to be a world record holder @ 21 in the juniors- 320K! His 8 rep max was 267.5! He ain't even huge!

            Yeah, I'd guess no bigger than 15-16 stone now- and quite all, 6'2ish at a guess. He was bigger when he got the record but not huge. He looks like a track & field athlete rather than a PL.

                    A female friend of the family has just lifted 705kg in the 84kg class. Squat 280kg, Bench press 220kg and Deadlift 205kg

                            Big, strong girl- says she's in the 90K+ cat what I watched, so that's pretty beefy!

                            Raw means not wearing super suits- elasticity things which add a fair amount to their lifts. As the deadlift involves overcoming the inertia immediately (hence "dead"), it doesn't benefit from the elasticity "bounce" after the dropping phase of the lift unlike the squat or bench.

                            Nevertheless, she'd still be massively out squatting & benching me without suits!

                              Sorry but that guys deadlifts are poor form! A lot of weight though so fair play to him! Also my iphone 6 plus is huge! Feels like a special needs phone lol

                                There's a lot of flexion aye, but your form is never great when you're pushing for a pb is it?
