A bit rich coming from a punny cunt like me but his form is a back injury waiting to happen. He really flexes and wiggles instead of thrusting the hips to lock it out.

Meh...I can't say anything as I can only do half what he does so I'll shut up

Aye, does the trick tho. Let's face it, he's done that for years & got away with it. Either of us tried pick that up once, we'd snap ourselves in 2.

I'd like to get 220 which I think is realistic if I stayed injury free. 250 is my real goal, but not sure that'll ever happen.

Work situation means that I can/will only go to the gym twice a week. Monday and Wednesday. I'll supplement with some dumbbell stuff at home as well as bodyweight bits every now and again; but interested to know what you chaps would do with those twice weekly sessions?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

            Compound stuff dude:

            Shoulder press
            Squat
            Deadlifts*
Pull-ups (or chins if you must)*
            Bench press
            Bent over rows*

You could split them by a pull & push sesh- I'll star the pulls, rest are push.

You can do your arms & core at home- or even the pulls/chins if you get a bar or power station.

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Leg day today, meh, least favourite day for working out but needs must.

Squats, hammy curls and quad extensions are the name of the game today....and lots of them. All in all I've 200+ reps to plough through. Going to be sore on Thursday. I always get sore 2 days after I do leg day, not the next day but the day after that. Odd.
                        Cheers

Aye, me too. Am reckoning it's cos of muscle size. Dunno why tho. Defo less DOMS tho than when I used to do as many reps as you.

But having to sprint across Leeds train station 2 days after I did all them deads was horrendous.

I'm not too fussy about diet mate- just try to eat balanced with sufficient protein. Don't try shy away from carbs either.
