Managed to do the London Marathon in 3:10 so was well chuffed, was aiming for 3:30 and just kinder kept going.

The crowd support is unparalleled, haven't experienced anything like that anywhere!
That's got to be pretty close to a Boston qualifier. What's it set at these days?

Think it'll get you back in next year too
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I've always worn your normal style runners, but want to try and get away from heel striking/running flat footed and these apparently encourage it.

Don't want to spend anymore than £80.
I've been alternating Saucony Kinvaras of late. Love them

I went completely the other way and ended up with these. Took them out for the first run today

Annoyingly last year they changed it to 3:05 or else i could have got in under 3:15! I've entered the ballot so fingers crossed, although i wont hold my breathe as i got in after about the fifth attempt!

Did a Tough Mudder on Saturday, don't know if that counts as running but i'm counting it. Was nearly 11 miles after all

My target is to break 100km this month.

Excellent, superb cushioning and very light too (which I wasn't expecting). A favourite of ultra marathon runners apparently.

Well done Will, how was it? Always wanted to do one for a laugh, but I refuse to pay the insane price to enter.

Interesting. I think I'd have to give them a try before considering buying them though.
