I was thinking of going back to use the C25K as an interval trainer. So rather than run-walk-run-walk. I would jog-run-jog-run.

I think its a good plan, so you cant really go wrong with it. It builds you slowly.

Alex you've been running for so long now (on and off, but still) and you still you C25k?

More off than on. I didn't run for about 6/7 months. Zero exercise. So I thought I should start it off properly.

I know what you mean though, what's the point in doing it 10 times. I just need to follow it though. I have the habit now. Im pushing myself to keep it going, part of the reason Im posting here. Need to keep motivation.

Just did a steady 8 miler. Nice night but my thoughts were mainly switching between 'what the **** am u doing out running at 9pm on a Friday?' And 'why did I have that chicken tikka 2 hours ago?'. Nice though. Good to be getting a few miles in again.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

            Chicken Tikka with full sundries?

            Quite the effort.

Some spiced cauliflower rice equivalent. Bad, bad idea.

Tried doing a little interval training last night and it kicked the absolute **** out of me. Might have to reassess set less lofty goals of an evening. Works you hard though, which can only be a good thing.

Went for an excellent 10km technical mountain bike ride. Climbing hills and tackling switchbacks. Even managed some jumps! Utterly drained today though and I've had a headache all day.

I've taken rehydration tablets but I'm still feeling a bit dry. Might try some rock salt and warm water.
