Would like to see Cook get a big score here. He is under pressure from 2 sides, batting and captaincy. I have a feeling they are feeding into each other. Get a big score, lifts his mood and then frees him up to captain the side with what we saw some 18/24 months ago in that first series against India away.

Plus if he gets a big score, it'll ease the pressure of the rest of the players out of knock and could change the mood in the side.

As Foggy said, I dont think we are far off being a decent side. But its small bits and pieces all over the team that are adding up to this terrible form.

No DRS has been a dreadful decision, so many terrible calls it's unreal.

I don't think we will anytime soon. There is a deep distrust of technology among the BCCI higher ups. Either that or they haven't received kickbacks from the tech companies who provide the software for it.

Yup, I'm sure a few rupees chucked in the right direction would help move things along with DRS

Apparently there is big push back from Tendulkar and Dhoni with regards to DRS, and you'd have to think with those two they hold lots of sway. With one gone, I guess it's part of the battle.

BCCI hold too much power within the game to be able to refuse it. Then again that's a whole other issue with them, ECB and Cricket Australia. Their power combined can only be bad for Cricket.
