The tactics were dreadful. The ball is seaming about and we ask Plunkett to bowl short, around the wicket to a leg side field? **** off Cook.

We bowled so very poorly in the morning, but why does Cook persist with Anderson and Broad when they don't look like taking a wicket? Plodding on with 9 over spells FFS! Sure they were keeping it tight, but in those perfect conditions we needed to take wickets and impose our superiority on the game. **** off Cook.

What an abysmal last session, at 153/7 India looked in trouble. What goes on with England when hunting those last wickets? You have to think Cook is thinking about his batting, and just loses focus on attacking for wickets,
