Yeah totally agree although I’ve got no idea how Reece Walsh avoided the sin bin for his shoulder charge ( that the Storm player got sin binned for later )

Was a great final - Broncs deserved the win - RW was MOM - but like the game v Canberra he got away with one ...

My friend's 15 year old son is recovering from some complicated heart surgery and was visited by Jonathan Thurston - what a legend.

I didn't know a heap about him but not only was he a world class rugby league player, he did and continues to do a **** load of charity and community work, including said visit!

Is anyone going to follow the new second division for football?

It started this weekend. It will be interesting to see how it goes and hopefully one day they can turn the two leagues into a promotion and relegation system.

Gold Coast Titans going full rebuild for the new coach, Josh Hannay. I think we are down to a squad of 19 or 20 players at present. Good news is Tino is staying, undecided if Dave Fifita is wanted or not. Lofi Kahn Perriera has gone to the Wahs & Phil Sami could be going to St George. We might get Lachlan Ilia’s at 1/2 back.

Suns doing well picking up Petracca as well.

I’d be excited if I was a Titans fan with the new coach. Big reputation as a coach and has been tipped to step up. Fifita Has to be one of the biggest disappointments in rugby league. I remember being so annoyed when he left the broncos. So much potential to do anything but doesn’t have the mentality it seems. You could only imagine if he had the same desire as Haas and Carrigan , imagine those three together at their best.

Yeah was just reading about Petracca joining us. Great bit of news that. And Ah Chee is pissed with Lions for stuffing up his release to Adelaide & said he’s played his last game for them.

Yeah Fifita is such a lazy player. He takes 1 hit up then bends over like he’s just run a marathon instead of looking to see if he’s needed again.

                      GOLD COAST SUNS

There may not have been as much noise around the Suns this off-season, but boy have they done it again. First and foremost, they’ve landed Christian Petracca as their number one recruit. Add in their free hit on Jamarra Ugle-Hagan for Pick 74, AND the fact they’ve (more than likely) maintained enough points to match bids on their two young gun Academy players in the draft, and they are massive winners. The only question mark will now come over the loss of depth on their list. All of Malcolm Rosas Jnr, Sam Flanders, Ben Ainsworth, Connor Budarick and Brayden Fiorini have departed the club for greater opportunity elsewhere, and while none of them are out and out stars, a bad run with injuries could test them.

Charlie Kurnow to the Swans could be interesting to see. Hope he does well.

That’s a good win for Brisbane. I wish they’d change the side the cameras are on. Most of the fans sit on the same side as the cameras, it’s where all the season ticket holders are put, at it makes it look horrible.

I’m just glad he didn’t go the Geelong.

How do you think Jamarra Ugle-Hagan will go? So much potential but seems to have gone way off with some questionable off field behaviour. Maybe being away from all the attention in AFL land will help him get back on track. Bit of a gamble.

The WB fans are glad to see the back of him. I’m hoping Hardwick can sort out his off field stuff.
