Lomax sees himself as a centre & that’s why he left SG to join the Eels. They played him in the centres for a bit but stuck him on the wing which I think upset him. But yeah Melbourne think they call the shots & are always the team to bend the rules. I hope he rots in out in the NSW league. I know it’s only PS but any win over Melbourne is a good win.

Just watched the most 1 sided Matilda’s match but it only ended up 1-0 despite us having 85% possession. Terrible match to watch though

They’d need to improve out of sight but at the same time hopefully no other sides park the bus like that. The Philippines had zero intention other than to keep the goal difference down as we beat them 8-0 another time we played them. Sam Kerr & Mary Fowler are back from long term injuries, Hayley Raso hasn’t been playing regularly in Germany & those 3 are where our goals should come from. Hopefully they improve game on game.

Matilda’s won 4-0 over Iran tonight with 2 other goals overturned for borderline offside plus a penalty overturned for handball.

I’ve only seen the Matilda’s matches as the other matches are on pay tv. Around 25k last night at the Gold Coast in the rain for a double header so not bad.

Yeah not sure what brought the turn around about but it was a thing of beauty. 12 goal 3rd quarter & 6 in the last is incredible.

Parramatta got a flogging by Storm which was funny after being talked up in the off season.

Suns flogged Cats by 56 after leading by 85 at one point.

Just saw the Broncos score. Can I whinge about Cleary being available and cleared when he should have been suspended. Not a good start but then who would have thought they’d win it last year. It took them until late in the season to really click into form.

Suns have got high expectations this season. Good start for them. Sounds like Petracca had a big impact.

How do you think the Titans will go against the Sharks.

I watched some of the super rugby match between the Chiefs and Moana Pacifica. So much fun just all out attack from both teams.

I think the Sharks might just pip us but I think it’ll be a good game.

Yeah Petracca played well & looks really happy up here. Bailey Humphrey had 3 goal 1 from his first 4 kicks in the 1st quarter.

Broncos 0/2 to start the season as reigning champions & a side that has conceded 66 points so far. As good as Reece Walsh is in attack his defensive side & positional play is terrible.

Not a good start but they didn’t exactly start last year that well.

They’ve been some massive scores in the NRL so far.

The Matilda’s got a good 2-1 win over North Korea last night in the 1/4 finals of the Asian Cup & that assures them a place in the WC too.
