United and Joorabchian are expected to agree a complex deal, which could end up being worth in excess of £30million, over the next 36 hours. The final terms of the arrangement are still being discussed but it is understood Manchester United will not initially be buying Tevez outright.West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson gave his permission for Joorabchian to enter negotiations with other clubs three weeks ago.Magnusson himself spoke with Manchester United today as the deal moved closer to fruition. But West Ham are not expected to receive any of the proposed transfer fee, which could see the Premier League step in.

The Plot Thickens Over Tevez Move From West Ham To Man Utd

In another twist relating to the almost farcical proposed transfer of Carlos Tevez from West Ham to Manchester United, the Premier League have confirmed the only way a transfer can take place is if the transfer funds go directly to West Ham.. Anyone who thinks that there is something fishy going on could be forgiven, because apparently Hammers gave permission to Kia Joorabchian to 'tout' Carlitos to anyone who was interested as long as three weeks ago. Now call me a sceptic but isn't that around the same time as the Arbitration Panel sat? Now certain mischievous persons might suggest that Kia Joorabchian demanded the permission to sell on his prize asset or would have given evidence against West Ham to the panel. It doesn't take too much imagination to realise that Eggert Magnusson may well have sold Kia a lemon! He gave permission to find out how much Carlitos is worth on the open market.. There is an almost Shakespearean slant to these proceedings in that Joorabchian has sold Manchester United to his charge, but the money will go to the Hammers should the deal go through. The next stage would be the inevitable legal battle that would ensue between West Ham and Kia Joorabchian for who gets what from the transfer fee. Of course Joorabchian could just settle for his percentage of the players rights and earnings that he could receive from being at West Ham for at least another season. Finally, this writer used to do some work for PA Press a long time ago and I have a few friends still there, word is that the Tevez "I am so thrilled to be going to Manchester United" statement was in a reply made through an interpreter to an English speaking journalist eho had asked him if he would like to play for Manchester United IN THE FUTURE!, whereas in Spanish he said that he was concentrating on the Copa America and that everything else can wait.- Ed
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Remember 2002 lads when Roonaldinho was about to sign for Manure then decided to go to Barca.
Tevez will do the same, mark my words. Real Madrid will nip in and sign him & leave the scum wanting again.
