On the other hand as much as he plays for a team I hate it's hard to hate Giggs. He's a consumate pro with a lot of talent and as a long career as long as the PL itself.

No, they're probably not that clever, but they probably are thick enough to believe all they read in the papers, and Giggs got a lot of press around that time when he started about two games in a row and got his solitary goal of the season
