As people say it is a joke giving Giggs the award this season having started only 12 games. 8 assists is decent in that amount, but still far off being player of the year.

The only reason he gets the award is because of his age and what he has accomplished throughout his career - which is a totally different award.

Nominate him for the ****ing golden foot or something, this is ridiculous.

Well i think that's the implication, is it a public vote...do we get to see who voted for who..or is it open to the fa just er...mis-counting the votes, that is the question. not..to be or not to be. he he.

I know, it's unlikely, but i would be interested to see how & who exactly does the collating of the votes, how many people actually are involved and get to see the votes as they are, not because i believe it's 'rigged', but just for transparency reasons, would take all this speculation away then, lets see which players voted for who is all, not a hard thing to do imo, we aren't talking millions of voters here, and i actually believe fans would be interested to see who voted for who.

Doesn't the second half of last season fall into the voting period? Still don't agree it should be him but you can see some players have seen him win the CL and PL and broken the Scum's appearance record.
