Go to say of all the Mancs he's the one i despise the least, he's been given the sympathy vote as such. The whole list was farce anyway, stupid popularity contest.
    We come not to play.

They call them nominees but if I understand it correctly that's wrong. The so-called 'nominees' are just the top six. No room for confusion there then.

They time it for now to avoid clashing with the Football Writers Award. Er, why? So they gain publicity at the expense of any credibility.

The way the PFA have handled this whole awards thing is pathetic. The fact the human carpet has won it despite being a fairly peripheral figure just shows it in an even worse light than usual.

Anyway it doesn't much matter. Football is about playing, winning and trophies not stupid awards.

No way did he deserve the award above other players on list. Vidic and Gerrard were the 2 outstanding nominees.

Also how did Ashley Young get the young player award ahead of Stephen Ireland?

8 assists is an impressive stat. Perhaps he won it for that

And about 10 goals? Ireland has been head and shoulders above Young this season. Both votes are laughable.

                            Six
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He'd have 12 if it wasn't for Keane's air shots earlier in the season though.
