Exactly. Most fans would get caught up in the moment and get quite angry but throwing things or trying to storm the pitch is complete stupidity.

Thought, not think, I'm not one of this kiddies unwilling to admit to the possibility of ever being wrong. But what that as to do with that post I have no idea.Originally posted by Chris View PostThen again you think he left for the "love" of City fans which says it all really!
Adding a red herring to your strawman?

Ah, right, where as thinking it's OK to storm the pitch and throw things is the height of wisdom. You must be operating on a higher plain to me as I don't quite understand thatOriginally posted by Chris View PostIt was embarassingly clueless so its hard to take any other opinion from you on the matter seriously, thats all.

HAHAHAHA Saying football supporters do "stupid things" is thinking its ok to storm the pitch and throw things? Erm right, ooookkk!Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostAh, right, where as thinking it's OK to storm the pitch and throw things is the height of wisdom. I havent once said it's ok, im just saying you can see why it happens, theres 3000 people, plenty of whom will be steaming, angry that their team is losing, and when some cunt is goading you a reaction is likely to happen.
You're obviously an angel who's never reacted to anything, so thats fair enough, not everyone else is though.

I don't care what the provocation is, I think there is no place in the game for so-called fans who throw photographers on to the pitch.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostShow emotion or throw coins / bottles / photographers plastic tool, they're the same thing hey?

I hope the FA throw the book at th...er, no, hang on....
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Its a common belief in Psychology that crowd behaviour and individual behaviour are two completely different things - crowd psychology is a branch of social psychology dedicated to trying to understand why collectively, crowds can seemingly behave so differently to the individuals within. People can lose their identities in these situations and act in ways they wouldn't normaly.Originally posted by carheex View PostI don't agree at all. If a bunch of small brained retarded football fans react in the way that they did, just because he ran to celebrate and taunt them, then that's their problem. They'll be complaining next that scoring against them is trying to wind them up. Pathetic. They gave him stick when he was at the club and taunted him throughout the game. Fair play to him for his reaction. If they can't take it, don't dish it out.
If the above it to be believed then inciting a crowd like Adebayor did is a pretty irresponsible thing to do.

Try to explain this to Adebayor … I really think he's not a bad person at all, just very immature and rather stupid – plus badly advised. Yes, he's apologising all the time for something (like someone mentioned in this thread), but I actually believe him every time. We probably expect too much from footballers, many of them will never behave like responsible, mature professionals. What baffles me though is that obviously no one advises these players how to behave better.Originally posted by rudedog View PostIts a common belief in Psychology that crowd behaviour and individual behaviour are two completely different things - crowd psychology is a branch of social psychology dedicated to trying to understand why collectively, crowds can seemingly behave so differently to the individuals within. That may explain why people behave like thugs or whatever else in crowds but it doesn't excuse the individuals within the crowd - they are still responsible for their actions.Originally posted by rudedog View PostIts a common belief in Psychology that crowd behaviour and individual behaviour are two completely different things - crowd psychology is a branch of social psychology dedicated to trying to understand why collectively, crowds can seemingly behave so differently to the individuals within.
