The fans should be banned and I'm sure I said the Arsenal fans should be punished in my orginal post so please keep up.Originally posted by carheex View PostWhat the **** are you on?! if a steward got injured because of some lairy louts that's their fault, regardless of where adebayor decided to celebrate his goal! those fans should be banned for life for endangering others - totally unnecessary reaction.
The daft cunt created this situtation and should take responisbility for his actions it was clearly premeditated to cause this reaction and therefore considering what has happened recently in football stadiums he should be banned for acting the prick.
So in conclusion just for you mr slow:
Arsenal fans punished for acting like thugs.
Adebayor banned for his stamp and also for his celebration.**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

You really think so?Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostIt's a direct reaction to the way he feels they treated him but.
I don't agree with him, but in his mind they didn't give him the appreciation he deserved, then when he moved so he could get it they branded him a merc and a traitor.
It was for the "love" he left, not the money, there's little doubt of that in my mind. Money just = love vouchers to some players. It's a status thing, not a matter of wanting it purely for it's monetary value. Backed up by the way he's now playing.
Emmanuel Adebayor has risked alienating himself from Arsenal fans following an interview serialised in the Daily Mail where he suggested at this stage in his career, money is all important.
The Togolese striker is asked by the BBC Africa Sports editor, Farayi Mungazi: ‘How important is money to footballers? A lot of them say it is not about the money. Is that true?’ to which the player, heavily linked with a move to AC Milan and Barcelona, replied:
“It is not true, it is about money.”
“You are talking about in life and it is about money. When we are young, of course we played because we loved the game, we play because we were passionate about the game.”
“But now as soon as you reach a stage where you are professional and playing Champions League, after all those things we are talking about money.”
“If it is not because of money, what am I going to be playing for Arsenal for? If it is not because of money I don't think I would go to Arsenal to play. I would stay in my country, I would stay Lome where everyone loves me.”
“If its not because of money, I would not have come to Europe.”
Adebayor has put in a string of below par performances recently and has at times looked disinterested. Last week the former Monaco striker revealed that he is in regularly contact with AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

I've heard some journo's say that they don't think he kicked VP on purpose...from what I've seen it was blatantly intentional. He had every oportunity to move his foot away but he actually moved it toward his face.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

He was absolutely worshipped at Arsenal then he tried to get a move in summer 08, the supporters got pissed off, he became a lazy ****er, the supporters got even more pissed off.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostIt's a direct reaction to the way he feels they treated him but.

He's a mercenary and once the novelty has worn off at his new club he'll be back to being the lazy ****er he was last season.

I have to say I think the fault largely lies with the fans on this one. Obviously it is hardly a wise thing to do from Adebayor but given the levels of abuse he put up with in his last season at Arsenal I can see why he over reacted. It's not bright but realistically fans take this sort of thing much, much too seriously and need to look at themselves first IMO.
The stamp was out of order and should result in a ban."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I've got no comment on the stamping incident, I'll save for the relevant thread. With regards to how he celebrated, i personally don't have a problem with it. The fans are the disgrace in this situation - they CHOSE to go mental start throwing things around. Would they have done so had they not been losing?

Nah its mostly Adebayors fault. After getting on perfectly fine at Arsenal he then demanded a move to AC Milan, he became a lazy cunt on the pitch, he gave the interview "I wouldnt be at Arsenal if it wasnt for money" and he was the one in the paper on saturday morning slagging Arsenal supporters off. Thats bound to piss people off.
He acted a complete cunt and made an even bigger show of himself on saturday. Yeah in an ideal world supporters would concentrate on their own team rather than former players but life aint like that and he brought it all on himself. Toure didnt get any abuse, probably because he's not a complete prick!

He celebrated like he did knowing full well he would get the reaction he did. What the Arsenal fans did was wrong and most people would agree that they should be punished however Adebayor could have been the bigger man turned the other cheek and celebrated with his team mates in front of his own fans and we wouldn't be talking about this.Originally posted by carheex View PostI've got no comment on the stamping incident, I'll save for the relevant thread. Adebayour actions were pre meditated. He scored and then ran like a demented carthorse the full length of the pitch to gloat.Originally posted by Pacman View PostHe celebrated like he did knowing full well he would get the reaction he did. The attempted rake and stamp on Van Persie was also pre meditated.Last edited by Assassin; 14-09-09, 02:22 PM.
