Do a google image search "australian technology park" you'll be impressed with what they've done to your old workplace. It's brilliant.

heres an example of what I was talking about

I have heard a few people say the A-League doesn't have that connection. I would say its MUCH more commercial and Americanised and maybe the NSL was a little more pure and local?

Edit: when I say americanised I mean in regards to the commercialness of the sport etc etc.
The HAL has its good and bad points. I wasn't too keen on the ethnicity of the NSL, you didn't follow your local team, you followed the team of your culture. That was the good thing about Northern Sprit, also North Sydney oval is one of the best ovals in Sydney (too good for those idiotic North Sydney bears supporters).

SYD FC has a bit of a manufactured feel to it. I think it's because its a little impersonal at the SFS, not sure what it is.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

you should come down SB, I will share a beer with you as long as you are willing to share it with someone not much older than your kids
When I do decide to make the trek down I will certainly buy you a beer even though you are a cheeky git.

not sure about the job scene. It depends if you are in a profession that is needed usually. QLD really is a beautiful place to live.

May have discovered a loophole for you. Usually Australia will allow people in who can fill our skills shortages. That tends to read IT professionals, doctors, accountants etc.

The other day while getting her hair done by an Irish guy he told her got in cause he's a hairdresser. How hard is that? Get your licence to shear and your'e in!

Nah the Irish barber was in Leichhardt. I agree with you on the Northern Beaches. I lived at Freshie for a while and loved it there! I'm not overly fussed on Manly, but from Manly on up it's a great place to be!

Palm beach was always one of my favourites but the pommy tourists looking for the Home & Away characters spoils it for me.

I can see them filming that sometimes on Long Reef Headland at night from home, the lights they use are so bloody bright you wouldn't be able to tell if it was at day or night.

Me too! If you get down to Sydney ever, maybe we could actually do this. My dad is a big fisher and used to own a boat, we have rods and my uncle who is a massive fisher has an 18 footer with a crap load of beach rods and normal rods.

We could possible go out with him or even charter a boat it could be like the meet up the other lads had but down under Jono what are you doin!

One of the best things to do on the northern beaches is going swimming at the Warriewood blow hole. Jump in one side and carried out the other. Scary as but great all the same.

Did that a year or two ago. Bloody scary as! did you climb up the headland when you did it? I generally feared for my life climbing back up some rope which had been tied down, and ment you basically had to climb up a wet rock face with no harness. Never mind the tide rising inside the cave under the blow hole meaning you nearly were pressed under water.

The 5 second fall was bloody great but
