I did think it was strange that neither him or Pacheco were involved yesterday. They've both done well in the previous games.

Lol, really? You actually think..... no, second thoughts I'm not even going to validate your absurdity by attempting to debate it with you. Don't be so flipping ridiculousOriginally posted by NigelLG View PostI think BR does not make all the decisions at the club. There is someone overriding him. Common denominator since Rafa was here.

I *almost* agree with you, but he's only a youff.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostLack of respect shown by Suso there. On that alone it shows he's not ready for the first XI. Needs to learn some humility.
He's clearly desperate to play football and maybe saw Rodgers as a clean slate and an opportunity to move forward. Frustration has kicked in and he lashed out, no biggie.
The more pertinent question is whether he takes the mindset to prove Rodgers wrong and works harder to change his mind or if he throws his toys out of the pram and sulks.

Ha, with your general descent into Rashid-a-like negativity and whatnot these days you could easily actually believe that Fredo

As good as Suso has looked, I don't think he's ready for the first team, though I would play him in the League/Europa cup when I could.
Pacheco is more strange. He's looked really good, but it is his final ball that lets him down. No point in everything else he does if his final ball is lacking.Forwards.......

I think a better approach would have been to tell him he wanted to look at other players and to take a week off to relax seeing as he came straight from Euro's.
Unless of course he's needed for EL qualifier. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He's not ready for Premiership football yet, he should get games in the cups and in Europe though.
Also I think that the youngsters are an issue for another day, Rodgers has had a look at them and can keep them in mind. But the biggest issue has to be getting the first team ready for the new season and playing the way he wants them to. Coming in as a new manager with an early start to the season (due to the Europa League) and having a large number of the first team players coming back late from the Euros, and now having players at the Olympics is seriously going to affect our preparations, we need to focus on getting the first team players match fit for Europa League game next week. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
