I *almost* agree with you, but he's only a youff.

He's clearly desperate to play football and maybe saw Rodgers as a clean slate and an opportunity to move forward. Frustration has kicked in and he lashed out, no biggie.

The more pertinent question is whether he takes the mindset to prove Rodgers wrong and works harder to change his mind or if he throws his toys out of the pram and sulks.

Pacheco is more strange. He's looked really good, but it is his final ball that lets him down. No point in everything else he does if his final ball is lacking.

He's not ready for Premiership football yet, he should get games in the cups and in Europe though.

Also I think that the youngsters are an issue for another day, Rodgers has had a look at them and can keep them in mind. But the biggest issue has to be getting the first team ready for the new season and playing the way he wants them to. Coming in as a new manager with an early start to the season (due to the Europa League) and having a large number of the first team players coming back late from the Euros, and now having players at the Olympics is seriously going to affect our preparations, we need to focus on getting the first team players match fit for Europa League game next week.
