No doubt the uproar on here swayed him. Good to see he's listening to the fans.

So we'll end up selling him to Inter with us paying them a fee to take him and paying two thirds of his wages for the next three seasons.

He wants to leave, he's a good goalie - someone will pay for him. We don't need to loan him out.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Very few clubs can afford a goalkeeper on 100k+ wages so chances of him find a team and being sold this summer are very small now.

Barca was one of possible options but Valdes ****ed that up.

I am not so sure that even Napoli will be willing to pay his entire wages even if he goes on a loan coz according to Palmeri character they want us to pay €1.6m of his annual wages.

IMO Rodgers used his veto, last word or whatever you will call it.

The club IMO had accepted to loan him out but Rodgers told them that he will only let him leave if we sell him.

That is why it first looked like we would loan him out.

IMO Rodgers is showing our owners what to do with their so called ambition. He is showing who is the boss.

                    I like that a lot

What makes you think the club had "accepted to loan him out" before Rodgers said what he wanted?

In fact, what makes you think Rodgers isn't an integral part of the decision-making process at the club?

I mean, apart from that's what popped into your head. You know, like a reason.

Have you not seen the numerous reports where it has been made totally clear that Rodgers veto'd the deal? Or the reports of a bust up between Rodgers and the board on player sales? Or the masses of evidence that Rodgers has been going against the transfer committee?

You know... Because if you hadn't seen the pages upon pages upon pages on that then it could be considered that the Rodgers veto of Reina's loan is just a wild unsubstantiated hunch based on a throwaway line at a press conference and Rodgers's view that Reina is a good lad who should be playing in a World Cup year and I can't believe that Arn has made such a bold statement on such flimsy evidence... It's too out of character for him.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Why isn't he with the squad? I know it is likely he will leave but shouldn't he have reported for per season by now?

Didn't he go and then come back when the Napoli talk started?

Or did he not go on tour at all?
