Pepe has shown himself to be like every other footballer since the Barca interview a couple of years back, in it for himself.

Not good enough for us anymore but I'd like to see us get something in terms of a transfer fee, still young enough to have a decent lengthy career.

I assume there is more to this that this tweet? What's Pepe done wrong?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He wrote a goodbye letter when he went on loan to Napoli. In it he said some disparaging things about the current management at the club. His days were numbered after that apparently.

Aye, remember all that, but what's all the greedy thing about?

Did a club bid and he turned them down looking more wages or are people expecting him to rip up his contract for free because we don't want him?

Oh, I see Pepe has requested this, not the club. Cunt. Haha.

How long does he have - is it one more season?

I suppose at roughly 10 months and wages assumed to be in the region of £400,000 per month that's £4m saved so probably not the worst outcome if it comes to fruition.

It is sad it seems to be ending this way for Pepe, with his attributes he should have been a good fit for BR, but clearly not fancied at all. He was a great servant for this club in his time here and I hope it all ends amicably. Would love to see him at the game at Anfield on Sunday, even just to get a proper send off from the fans.

Apart from his inability to save a shot.

I think Im going to ignore the last year or so of Pepe with us. He was fantastic for a good few years under Rafa. Thats how I want to remember him.

He was a good servant, shame its ended like this.
                              *Except Michael, who died.

Why can't he just buy out his contract?
