I'll always have a soft spot for him. Signed the same summer my eldest was born and was always his fav player - I still have a number of kids goalie kits with 25 on the back!

Absolutely no hope,barring serious injury,of usurping Neuer. At his age you would think he'd want to play. Total lack of ambition IMO. Glad to see the back of him and I don't get this hero worship from some sections of our fanbase.

He won't be the #1, certainly won't start any big games when Neuer is fit, but he'll get games in the cups and probably get rotated in every now and then. It's not like he has that many other options, he won't play here at all and most clubs won't pay any kind of fee for him.
