As regular readers will know, I am not a fan of Reina, or indeed any player who regularly displays their lack of loyalty in public. Yes, he made a statement of support 7 days later (!), but his initial reaction is the one that counts.
He has regular readers? Or is he delusional ?

Didn't Stevie make a comment about Martinez at some point?

            Sounds like crap to me.

Anyway isn't there supposedly some arrangement that Rodgers can't sign an Swansea players for a year?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Kanwar is a, unsurprisingly, a Manc, he's been outed before. Ignore the prick.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                  Jamie Kuntwar He *hated* Gerrard.

The Vorm link is tenuous and it'll be inevitable we get linked with Swansea players.

EDIT: Ah, Shaggy's comment would explain mine above.

From memory (which isn't my strongest trait), I think Gerrard's reported comments were a shorter version of a question he answered. Something about how he'd back Martinez *if* he got the job.

Anyhoo, I don't think we can have all players coming out on day one of an appointment to say how chuffed they are, it looks false (even if it is). It needs to come out slow and steady and I'm sure our PR machine will be clicking in to gear when we report back for pre-season training with pictures on the official of the players laughing and a few more senior players being inerviewed saying how much they love the training under Rodgers.

What Reina said was his opinion and the opinion of half the fans too. Do the papers write about how three quarters of the English players wanted 'Arry and ended up with Roy? Coz that happened too, it's just media and folk with an agenda.

I *think* the fourth column is 'Errors led to chance'. Mebbe.

I think he had another article recently about Carragher blasting ex-players for not playing for Roy, thus it was their fault and Roy wasn't *that* bad.

                            I may have paraphrased.
