its not just this season. arsenal first game last season was awful. he makes 3 or 4 a season, which in this age of fly away footballs is about the norm. but he doesn't save enough shots for my liking. other teams seem to have so few efforts yet score with them. couple of the spurs goals were gettable. as for penalties, he doesn't even go the right way. hart is a better shot saver, but as a character, leadership, acting as a sweeper etc he's very good. I wouldn't swop him though. needs to concentrate more.
