I'm not his biggest fans in terms of the footballing side of his game, but I certainly cannot fault his attitude. The guy has always been a team player, and even now when doubts over his future are there he shows his classy nature. If he does decide to move to Barca or Napoli, I wouldn't begrudge him one bit. He's been a great servant to the club and an example to the other players.

Answering my own question here but according to Gazetta, at Rafa's first Napoli press conference he told them De Sanctis would be staying.

I really hope he stays he is a fantastic player with bags of experience at the highest level to have in our squad. He is also a senior player at our club & that experience is essential for us to move forward from last season, especially with new defense being introduced. The Mig IMO will have to train hard & take the No. 1 spot off Reina. If anything, it will be good for us to have this high level of competition for the keepers jersey as both will have to be at 100% and each can help the other out in other areas of their game.
