why can't it be that roy is using the early games against weaker opposition to get the tactics righ for the more important games before he thinks about how to do more damage against the smaller teams? he had to switch things around agains city, and where did that get us?

now that the window is closed, he knows the squad and he can work more on the specifics of what he wants. maybe he'll be getting our basic tactics down first--the ones we'll employ against lesser teams in order to make sure they're known to the players before heading off to old toilet--in three weeks time...

let the goals come after then by all means, but 6 points from the next 6 would be the best way to get some confidence going.
