He's got some fabulous players at Madrid, no wonder they score a lot of goals.
As has Rafa at Inter but he wouldn't have had the same results as Mourinho, had he gone to Madrid..

Have to say, would there be the same outcry if say Xabi and Ramos were on yellows from a previous game and intentionally got booked for time-wasting without getting sent off? Probably not. Have to say I think it was a smart move and I think you'll find most other coaches would have done the same. Why not? There is nothing in the rules to stop them and they have put themselves in a position where they can do it.

To be honest it's hard to prove that they intentionally got booked. It's obvious, but very hard to prove. I agree it's unsportsmanlike but unsporting behaviour happens every game. At least they didn't try to kick someone to get booked!

Just stirring the pot a little more...

                  Enjoy:

Jose Mourinho has questioned the credentials of Arsene Wenger in retaliation to the Arsenal manager's criticism of Real Madrid.

Uefa has charged four Real Madrid players and boss Mourinho for improper conduct after two of their players were sent off against Ajax in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos received second yellow cards late on in the 4-0 win, ruling them out of Madrid's final Group G encounter, with the side already qualified.

Wenger voiced his disgust at their unethical tactics, branding it "horrible" and unacceptable, despite admitting playing with the idea in his mind in the past.

Mourinho has hit back in typical fashion, though, taunting the Frenchman for his lack of success in recent times at Arsenal, who lost 2-0 to Braga in Portugal.

"He should especially explain to Arsenal supporters how he can't win one single little trophy since 2005," the former Chelsea boss told The ***.

"Instead of speaking about Real Madrid, Mr Wenger should speak about Arsenal and explain how he lost 2-0 against a team in the Champions League for the first time.

"The history about the young kids is getting old now," added the Portuguese.

"[Bacary] Sagna, [Gael] Clichy, [Theo] Walcott, [Cesc] Fabregas, [Alex] Song, [Samir] Nasri, [Robin] Van Persie, [Andrey] Arshavin are not kids. They are all top players."

Could Mourinho not have prevented all this by just resting Alonso and Ramos in the final game???

                        Comment

It wasnt the final game, it was the 5th game. And resting them doesnt clear the yellow cards.

                              Ok.

Well, because resting them doesnt clear up the yellow cards, then.
