Which manager sends his teams out everywhere playing attacking football?

Some of the ****e in this thread is laughable.

They are on fire at the moment and it looks though they've got the perfect blend of attacking players with lots of flair, and Mourinho's pragmatism. Solid at the back and giving little away, and their big forward players scoring and creating goals. Really can't wait for Monday night, hope Barca take them apart.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He does seem to have the balance right.

Anyone who calls a team with Ronaldo, Di Maria, Higuain, Ozil and Alonso in it 'not attacking' is having a ****ing laugh. They've played some great stuff this season, and look every bit the side who will end Barcelona's dominance.

And i have to say, as with most Mourinho sides, i expected no less.

I'd knew you'd come along and defend him.

He's got some fabulous players at Madrid, no wonder they score a lot of goals.
          Are we winning?

Be honest Craig, first thing in his mind is to keep the ball/if not put 10 behind it and not concede any. He's hardly epitomised free flowing football.

Madrid have always had fabulous players. Why have they suddenly managed to get the blend of brilliant attacking football, and defensive solidity right before?

Maybe Mourinho just IS a brilliant football manager?

I'm not so much 'defending' him - he doesnt need me to do that, his record does it.

How on earth do you know what's in his mind?

As for keeping the ball - well, whatever next???!!!

Christ, he's on some weird bizarre 'keeping the ball' vibe, is that Mourinho. Doesnt he know that the key to football success is to give the ball away? And likewise, with his desire to not concede goals...doesnt he know the best way to win games is to give the ball away and let in goals?? The fool!

He could learn a lot from that Hodgson fella.

That wasn't what I meant. He is notoriously famous for being excessively tactical and negative. Nothing wrong with that when it brings you success, but it does smack of hypocrisy when Rafa was criticised for employing similar tactics. At the end of the day, the more talent you've got in your team the more chances for you to win.

Mourihno can't really afford utterly negative tactics at Madrid, he'll get slaughtered. Then again, I wouldn't want him at Anfield because I despise his attitude. He'll think of himself first, that's what he always does.

Why does everything have to be about Rafa, with you?

                    This isnt a rafa thread.

Not always so it does need a top class manager to get the players to play and win....Madrid have had the roughly the same squad bar a few players and for several seasons they won diddly squat

I think his trophy haul does a decent enough job of 'defending him'.

To be fair, although they've always had a strong squad, they made big investments in the summer and brought in a load more top players. Di Maria, Ozil, Khedira, Pedro Leon, and Carvalho - a classic Mourinho signing, about £7m for a 32 year old.

Apparently not, seeing as you feel the need to continuously do it.

Oh yeah that's true and only at the end of the season will we know if Mourhinio can work his magic........but they have struggled recently........El classico will be a huge game to define both barcelonas and real seasons
**** just checked and the el classico game is on Monday night and am at work
