you need legs and stamina to be a modern full back. steve has struggled with running when he was in the middle. at least he had lucas and henderson to bail him out. on the flank he would look lost at sea.

Agree in principle but I'm not sure our current FB's are showing much of this at present plus the better you read the game the more you should be able to get away with an older pair of legs.

Anyway BR wont put him there regardless of whether I reckon it's worth a punt

As I said he is not playing great but the system we play demands the full backs get forward and they will be caught up the pitch from time to time however the other players will have been detailed to cover and drop in when this happens.

Both fullbacks were really far up the pitch for the 2nd goal and the space is exploited in behind Cissokho the centre backs and goalkeeper should do better when City counter.

He's way off alright, needs competitions or a giant kick up the arse. Someone said he isn't aggressive enough, completely agree with that.

£100 grand per week apparently. Which for his performance level this season is pretty astronomical. If FSG are going on a performance vs wages scenario... doesn't look to good for Glen.

I'm pretty sure he's on record as wanting to play abroad at some point, I'm pretty sure that's what will be happening in the summer, but he if keeps playing as he has been he might struggle to find a buyer.

Johnson has only had one good game since his injury. He needs dropping. It's nothing compared to are total inability to defend set pieces and crosses. Our defenders are ALWAYS flat footed and most of the time don't even bother jumping.

How is this not addresses in training?
