It's only a hunch but I think he's happier at home with his mates, he just exudes that personaOriginally posted by Daniel 7 View PostIts the ultimate big time charlie move that isn't it? Helicopters to work??
Its not unheard of to feel homesick after moving such a relatively short distance. Barry Ferguson left Blackburn for the same reasons, Shaun Maloney wanted back to Celtic...

Must be honest lads. I was at the match yesterday and it was the first time I'd seen Carroll in the flesh. I thought he was woeful. The most disappointing thing for me was his body language. He looked really flat footed all game. To be fair, he tracked back quite a lot and hassled the Spurs defenders when they tried to play the ball out a la Rushie.
I'm concerned, he looked to have as much confidence as Torres.

I'm getting a bit sick of all this ****e. People writing him off after he's had 14 games for us. And they arent 14 full games, they have come across two different seasons and he's barely been 100% fit at any point since we signed him. AND he's ****ing 22 years old.
If we'd paid £8m for him, no cunt would be on his back, yet he is getting slagged off for the fee, which had nothing to do with him.
In stoppage time yesterday, having been dicked 4-0 and embarrassed, we were still singing, chanting the players and Kenny's name and applauding them off, with them applauding back to show their appreciation for the support. That's what it's ****ing about, unity between players, fans and club. Actual unconditional support, not slagging someone off because they're taking time to settle in and deliver the goods.
I wish some people would go and support ****ing Wigan or something, let them find out what it's really like to have **** players to cry about.

About the same being nearly double when wages are taking into account.
Carroll has been wrote off from day one by a large section of our support tbh. He was always going to come in for stick if he didn't hit the ground running.
I'm confident he can become a good asset for the club, the price tag is always going to be used against him though, sadly it''s the one thing he can't help.

The fact he is not producing is one thing but his work rate is extremely poor.
He needs to show some aggressiveness and show some desire that he wants the ball and I don't see any of that yet.
Early days but he really needs to step up soon.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
